"With empathy, imagination, and heaps of enthusiasm, we support children to look at the world with wonder and curiosity"
At Castle we’re privileged to be able to work alongside children who are discovering wonderful new things about themselves, their surroundings, and the world they live in all the time. These early moments form the foundations for learning and demonstrate the importance of nurturing lifelong learning skills rather than simply learning goals.
With empathy, imagination, and heaps of enthusiasm, we support children to look at the world with wonder and curiosity, helping children become enthusiastic explorers, active learners, and creative, critical thinkers. Our key person approach means each child has a ‘special’ teacher who tailors our curriculum to their individual interests and needs.
Beautiful Adventures out-of-doors
At Castle one of our greatest passions is for the great outdoors. We are lucky to have some beautiful outdoor play spaces across both of our settings, and really value the outdoor learning and play potential that these environments offer our children.
It’s important to us that there are no limits placed on the learning and wonder that can be achieved by spending as much time outside as possible, whether that’s to join an adventurous bear hunt through our wild area, cook up an extravagant banquet in our mud kitchen, or create some found nature art in a newly-made den, our outdoor learning spaces are the perfect environment to use our curriculum imaginatively.
