At Castle we respect you as your child’s first and most enduring educator. We therefore believe that effective communication with our parents is invaluable, helping you to share in the fun and progress your child is enjoying with us, and ensuring your child’s development and love of learning continues at home.
- Practitioner Contact – Please always feel welcome to talk to staff by phone or in person.
- ‘Famly’ Platform app– for information on events and activities our children have been involved in. This is a closed App just for Castle parents. We do not use photos of the children on open social media platforms such as Facebook.
- Email – all queries will be swiftly responded to by our admin team.
- Parent noticeboard – for any notifications or useful information.
- Learning journals – these can be accessed and added to by you at anytime.
- Newsletters – we publish a termly newsletter to make you aware of events.
- Individual meeting – for you to discuss any matters with your child’s key person.
- Questionnaires – each year we ask you to fill in a questionnaire about your child’s experience with us.
- Policies – our policies are in the policy folder in the entrance hall for you to read.
- Entrance hall screen – here we regularly display photos from the exciting activities our children have been participating in, so that you can browse them on your way in to our setting.
If parents have any issues or complaints with any aspect of our facility or the provision we deliver, please do not hesitate to contact the nursery manager to discuss your concerns. At Castle we value all feedback and welcome the opportunity to hear your experience of our service as this is what helps us to shape and improve for the future. We pride ourselves on ensuring a consistently high quality level of care, and we will do everything possible to ensure that all issues are dealt with quickly and to the best of our ability.
